This powerful woman of God has defied the odds from the beginning of her life. Raised by her mother, Evelyn Cherry, Shannan is the little sister of a loving big brother, the late Tracy Harris. From a young age, Shannan excelled in school and remained focused through everything that took place in her colorful childhood. During high school, Shannan became a teen mother and did not let this hinder or stop her from becoming a successful parent. She continued to work hard and graduated from high school - again, defying the odds! From the time she became a mother, Shannan pressed forward to provide for her beautiful daughter, Chelsie Lee. Later on in life she married and became a mother once again. This time to two more beautiful girls, Jamia and Shania - twins!!! She continued to work and turned her focus to her family and doing ministry work for the Kingdom of God. Through all of life's twists and turns Shannan has never stopped trusting and believing in God; smiling through it all. Just recently Shannan became the blushing, proud grandmother of a baby girl, Makenzie Lee. In this new season in her life, Shannan is still lifting up, interceding and giving to others unconditionally. Shannan’s heart is pure and the teaching anointing that is on her life is evident where people are set free and prayers are answered for many!
Shannan has just completed writing her first independent book, "The Winning Chic".
She considers it a privilege and honor to serve God and others. Shannan is a woman of God, an overcomer, an inspiration, and a source of light to many in a world that needs it.
